About Space Prison Escape
A group of friends wakes up in the holding cells of a robotic alien ship, and the itinerary does not include them. Space Prison Escape is a two-prisoner breakout through the vessel's laboratories, cargo bays and security corridors, where every sealed door is a small argument between a switch, a ledge and your patience.
The cooperation is built into the architecture. Pressure plates hold doors open only while someone stands on them; crates need pushing from exactly the wrong side; and the ship's wall panels let a prisoner cling to metal like furniture with a plan, which matters once the level designers start putting exits above floors. Player one handles the walls and the hanging around, player two handles the arithmetic of jumping — double jumps included — and both learn quickly that this facility was built to be confusing from the inside.
Between puzzles, the sci-fi dressing does real work: humming machines, alien furniture, and the constant mild dread of a patrol arriving early. Escape takes communication, some humble restarts, and the special kind of triumph that only a shared 'we got out' can produce.
How to play
| Desktop | Player 1 runs with W, A and D, presses F to interact and jump, and can double jump and hang from walls. Player 2 uses the arrow keys to move and K and L for actions. |
|---|---|
| Mobile | Both prisoners get their own touch buttons on split halves of the screen, so the breakout works on a single shared tablet. |
Tips & tricks
- Before anyone moves, agree who is the switch-holder and who is the scout — most failed rooms are actually failed role assignments.
- Wall-hanging resets your jump options: slide down a panel, wait for the patrol gap, then drop rather than leap.
- Doors that close too fast are a hint, not an insult — the level is telling you a second switch exists somewhere behind you.
- If a room seems impossible, one player should simply walk away from it; escape routes in this ship love to start down an unglamorous corridor.
