About Dino Meat Hunt Remastered

One dinosaur is small enough to fit through cracks; the other can breathe fire and shove boulders. Neither finishes the level alone. Dino Meat Hunt Remastered is a two-dinosaur expedition through caves, cliffs and flooded halls where every obstacle is a conversation: the big dino clears the path, the little dino slips through the gap, and somewhere past it hangs the meat that feeds the pair.

The remastered edition polishes the formula that made the series a two-player staple. Water crossings get solved rather than jumped — the little dinosaur builds makeshift bridges so both can cross — and the levels lean into the pairing, gating progress behind switches that need the big one's muscle and passages that need the small one's size. Double jumps, ledges, pressure plates and a healthy disrespect for falling rocks keep both players busy at the same time, so nobody's job is holding a controller and watching.

It is the thinking sibling on the co-op shelf: less sprinting, more pointing at a lever and saying 'you stand there'. Collect the meat, reach the exit together, and try not to argue about whose fault the last lava pit was.

How to play

Desktop The little dinosaur moves with W, A and D, and presses W twice for a double jump. The big dinosaur walks on the arrow keys and attacks with K and L.
Mobile Split touch controls give each dinosaur its own movement buttons on opposite ends of the screen, so two players share one tablet.

Tips & tricks

  1. Scan a room before moving: somewhere in it is a job only your dinosaur can do, and finding it first saves ten minutes of trial and error.
  2. The little dino's double jump also saves the big one — knocked eggs and dropped platforms are recoverable if you react fast.
  3. Big dino attacks break more than enemies; when a wall looks suspiciously cracked, K is the question and L is the follow-up.
  4. Meat is shared wealth — a run that ends with both dinos fed counts, whatever the level timer thinks.

FAQ

Is this a two-player game?
It is built for exactly two players sharing one keyboard — a small dinosaur and a big one, controlled separately, solving levels that require both.
Can the game be played solo?
Single players do run it by switching between the two dinosaurs, but the levels are paced and designed around two sets of hands cooperating at once.
What changed in the remastered version?
The chapters were rebuilt with cleaner platforms, water-crossing puzzles where the little dino creates bridges, and extra mechanical touches for the big dino's fire and strength.
Do both dinosaurs need to reach the exit?
Yes — a level completes when the pair finishes together, so stranding your partner on a ledge is technically a strategy and spiritually a betrayal.
