About Fish Eat Fish 2
Fish Eat Fish 2 is the eat-and-grow arcade game in its most complete form: single player, two player and three player modes, all sharing the same ocean rule — eat fish smaller than you, avoid fish bigger than you, and grow until nothing in the tank can argue. Up to three players share one screen, which makes it the rare party game that survives a third opinion.
The tank is layered with danger. Small fry school near the top, mid-size hunters patrol the middle, and everything below your size class is food until it is not. The battle to become the top fish plays out as a race: whoever eats cleanest early controls the middle of the tank, and the middle of the tank is where the meals are.
Player one swims on WASD, player two on the arrow keys, player three on the mouse — free in the browser, no download, touch support for mobile sessions. It is the definitive version of the eat-the-smaller-fish formula, and the three-player mode settles three-way arguments about who is actually the biggest fish in the room.
How to play
| Desktop | Player 1: WASD. Player 2: arrow keys. Player 3: mouse — move to steer, left-click to boost your bite. |
|---|---|
| Mobile | On-screen controls steer each fish; smaller groups share one device comfortably. |
Tips & tricks
- Growth is exponential — the first size tier is the hardest, so graze the safe top layer until you cross it.
- In three-player, the second-biggest fish should challenge the biggest early, or the lead becomes uncatchable.
- Never cross open water at equal size to a rival; disengage sideways instead of turning, since turns cost speed.
- The mouse (player three) has the finest steering — give the mouse player the middle of the tank where dodging matters.
