About Guardz.io
The page dynasty of the realm starts, as all great careers do, as a Page with a pointy stick. Guardz.io drops you into a medieval arena where swordsmanship and social climbing are the same skill: defeat rivals, collect the spoils, and climb a twelve-rank ladder from humble Page all the way to Knight-commander of everyone who used to bully you.
Combat is close-quarters and honest. Swords swing in arcs you can actually read, timing beats spamming, and a duel between two evenly ranked fighters is decided by footwork and nerve rather than numbers. Every rank gained changes the equipment you carry into the field — better steel, sturdier plate, a helmet with opinions — so progression is visible from across the arena: you can measure a stranger's entire career before deciding whether to bow or swing.
The medieval dressing is doing real work: banners, ladders of nobility, and the quiet comedy of a fully armored knight being chased by six Pages who smell a promotion. Sessions run fast, the combat has genuine weight for a browser game, and the twelfth rank is exactly as smug as it sounds.
How to play
| Desktop | Start with a mouse click, steer your knight with the mouse, and click to swing — movement and timing do the rest of the fencing. |
|---|---|
| Mobile | Tap to enter and steer by touch, with the attack on tap as well, so the whole ladder climbs from a phone screen. |
Tips & tricks
- Pick on equals and betters selectively: rank points flow uphill, and losing to a Page costs more than pride.
- Swing when your target commits to a swing — trading blows favors whoever has better armor, and armor follows rank.
- Stay near arena edges while climbing; the center is where veterans conduct their business and newcomers become statistics.
- Watch a veteran duel before joining any fight: footwork tells you who is about to win, and winners are generous to bystanders — briefly.
