About Catapult of Janissary

The Janissary series trades blades and rifles for the noblest of siege weapons: the catapult. Two players take turns adjusting angle and power, then letting fly a payload across the battlefield in a high, hopeful arc. Direct hits score, near misses splatter harmlessly, and every exchange is a small physics seminar conducted at siege volume — the player who reads the arc wins, and the player who doesn't learns.

Bona fide chaos agents keep the duels from becoming pure math. Bonus pickups drift through the fight with names that promise exactly what they deliver: Smart rounds that correct their course mid-air, Ghost shots that slip through obstacles, Big ammunition that clears a thumb's width of doubt, and Bomb payloads that turn a clean hit into a paragraph of rubble. Grabbing a bonus at the right moment converts a stalemate into a two-point highlight, because first-try hits and powershot landings pay double.

Turn-based pacing makes it a perfect shared-keyboard contest — time to think, time to taunt, and time to watch your opponent's confident 45-degree attempt sail a country mile past your head. Aiming skill is real and learnable, but the bonuses keep every match promising one shot nobody saw coming.

How to play

Desktop Use the mouse to set the angle and hold to charge power, release to fire, and click to grab bonuses as they appear.
Mobile Touch controls handle aiming, charging and firing with simple taps and drags.

Tips & tricks

  1. Learn one reliable reference arc first, then adjust from it — consistent baseline beats improvising every shot.
  2. Bonuses decide close matches; a Smart shot late in the duel is worth more than any raw power early on.
  3. Direct hits on the body pay double with a clean powershot, so charge fully when the angle feels right.
  4. Change your arc height between misses — if a flat shot falls short, the correction is loft, not more power.
  5. Watch your opponent's successful angles and steal them; the physics are the same for both catapults.

FAQ

How does scoring work?
Hits score points, and a first-try hit or a powershot strike earns double — race to the winning score before your rival's arcs find their range.
What do the different bonus shots do?
Smart rounds home in, Ghost shots pass through obstacles, Big ammunition hits harder and Bombs add explosive splash to the impact.
Is it strictly two players?
You can duel the computer as well, but turn-based catapult volleys shine brightest with two players sharing the mouse.
Do I need fast reflexes?
No — it is turn-based aiming, so thoughtfulness beats twitch speed every single round.
