About Neon Slimes
Neon Slimes is a two-player arena brawl between glowing blobs of pure competitiveness. The win condition is beautifully simple: make your opponent fall. Jump on their head to knock them weak and small, bounce around the neon arena, and finish the job before they recover — while they are trying to do exactly the same to you.
The double jump is the movement soul of the game, and the game wants you to be cool with it. Chaining hops around the arena, escaping head-stomp attempts by a pixel, and turning a desperate bounce into a counterattack is where the fun lives. Rounds are quick, resets are instant, and the lead flips constantly — a squished slime is one good combo away from revenge.
Two players on one keyboard, free in the browser with no download. It is the lowest-friction Versus game on this shelf: no menus worth mentioning, no modes to configure — just fall, jump, double jump and settle it.
How to play
| Desktop | Each player uses their own key cluster to move, jump and double jump; the keys are shown on screen at the start. |
|---|---|
| Mobile | Touch zones on each side of the screen give both players movement and jump controls on one device. |
Tips & tricks
- The head stomp is the only attack that matters — aim your landings at heads, not bodies, and momentum does the damage.
- A weakened slime moves worse. After the first stomp, stay on top of the recovery rather than letting them reposition.
- Use the double jump defensively first: the second jump is your escape from a stomp attempt, so keep it charged.
- Corner your opponent against the arena edge — a slime with no retreat room cannot bounce out of a combo.
