About Stick Duel: The War
Stick Duel: The War drags the stickman duel series out of the dojo and onto the battlefield. Two twig-armed soldiers, a stack of unpredictable weapons, and twenty arenas full of hazards that do not care who is winning — first to five rounds takes the war, and dignity is not on the scoreboard.
What separates this from a plain shooter is the arsenal roulette. Weapons spawn into the match with their own personalities: some shred at close range, some lob awkward arcs, some are frankly a liability. Reading your gun faster than your opponent reads theirs is half the skill, and sometimes the winning move is ditching a bad draw and fighting for the next pickup. The arenas complicate things further — pools of fire, collapsing ledges and tight corridors punish careless movement as surely as any bullet.
Challenge the CPU to learn the maps, then hand the second keyboard half to a friend and settle who the household's real marksman is. Double jumps, awkward bounces and last-second weapon swaps make every round feel like a comedy action movie, and a five-round match flies by fast enough that rematches are basically mandatory.
How to play
| Desktop | Player One moves with WASD and fires with F, Player Two moves with the arrow keys and fires with L — press jump twice for a double jump. |
|---|---|
| Mobile | Touch controls give each duelist a move pad and a fire button, so two players can share one screen. |
Tips & tricks
- Learn each weapon's quirk the moment you pick it up — losing a round teaches you more than the manual would.
- Verticality wins fights: a double jump onto a ledge breaks an opponent's aim completely.
- Fire pools and traps are area denial — steer fights toward them, never through them.
- At match point, play patient. A five-round war is lost most often by the player who rushes round five.
