About Minesweeper Duel
Minesweeper Duel is the childhood classic rebuilt as a one-on-one competition: you and your opponent open cells in turn on the same board, racing to claim safe ground while dodging the mines you both know are there. It is a new mode for the familiar game — all the logic of classic Minesweeper, plus a human across the board who benefits from your mistakes.
The duel changes how the logic feels. Every number you reveal gives your opponent information too, so the game becomes a slow negotiation over who is forced into the next guess. Play free against the computer to learn the rhythm, or compete with friends one-on-one online for the version where psychology meets probability — a turn-based brain battle with no reflexes required.
Free in the browser with no download, mouse click or tap to play. It is the rare PvP game you can play at full capacity while drinking tea — until the coin-flip mine ends the friendship, of course.

Tips & tricks
- Open informative cells early — revealing numbers in the board's center gives both players options, and options favor the better logician.
- Force the guess: when you must open somewhere, open adjacent to your opponent's unresolved numbers, not your own.
- Count remaining mines like a professional; endgame duels are decided by whoever tracked the arithmetic, not by luck.
- Turn order matters — as the second player, mirror-safe openings keep the information advantage on your side.
