About Geometry Rash
Geometry Rash hands you a sprinting cube with no brake pedal and dares you to keep it alive through eight brutal levels of spikes, traps and moving hazards, jumping to a rhythm that the level design sets and your thumbs have to learn. One touch of anything sharp restarts the attempt — checkpoints are for the weak, progress is for the persistent.
The form system is the twist. You begin as a jumping cube, but beating levels unlocks the ship, which flies with hold-to-rise controls, and the rocket, which trades hovering for raw thrust. Each form handles differently enough to re-teach you the level, and the best runs switch between them without breaking stride while coins tempt you off the safe line.
Free in the browser with no download — tap or click to jump, hold to fly. If you like rhythm-platformer punishment in short, intense doses, this is your next bad habit.
How to play
| Desktop | Left click or spacebar to jump; in ship form hold to fly upward and release to sink; in rocket form hold for sustained thrust. |
|---|---|
| Mobile | Tap anywhere on the screen to jump or hold for flight forms — the whole screen is the button. |
Tips & tricks
- Learn levels in sections. Most deaths past the halfway point mean one specific section needs drilling, not a full restart mentality.
- In ship form, tap in rhythm instead of holding — constant micro-corrections beat big corrections near spike ceilings.
- Coins are optional bait. On your first clear, ignore every coin that requires a risky line; sweep them on replays.
- The rocket's thrust is stronger than its fall — release earlier than feels right and let gravity do the descending.
